Barnabas Helmy, Owner

Barnabas Helmy began his career as designer for the Illinois Senate Democratic Fund (ISDF), where in 2006 his skills were instrumental in helping the Illinois Senate Democratic Caucus achieve a veto-proof majority of 37 seats, their largest majority in over 30 years.  His experience in the campaign field has been crucial to understanding the fundamentals of successful marketing.

He became Creative Director for Futures in Rehabilitation Management, Inc. (FIRM, inc.) in 2009 where he lead the project to rebrand and modernize the online and visual look of the agencies it manages.

In November 2011, Barnabas left to pursue his own business while caring for his new daughter. He works closely with 217 Consulting to continue providing outstanding services to political and grassroots organizations.

Helmy was born in Sheffield, England and has spent the majority of his life in Central Illinois.  He holds a B.S. from Illinois State University.
